Banana Splits Show Characters
Fleegle,
(A beagle) Played the Guitar and was the leader of the group. Voiced by Paul Winchell
Snorky, (An elephant) Played the Keyboards. Snorky does not speak, he just 'hoots' instead.
His personal buggy is covered in pink spots. Voiced by
Don Messick
Bingo,(A gorilla)
Played the Drums. He can always figure out Fleegle's
riddles. Voiced by Daws Butler
Drooper,(A lion) Played the Guitar. The fall-guy of the gang,
he is forced to face up to the Sour Grapes Gang, take out the trash. However he offers sound advice to viewers in his Dear Drooper segment.

There were two versions of the banana splits show, one version was made to air NBC's children's television. The other version was made to air on UK children's television. each of the two shows had different names due to the banana splits were originally going to be called "The Banana Bunch" However legal concerns resulted in the name being changed to "The Banana Splits" before the show went on the air. (The name was already in use for a show airing in the UK.) This led the scrapping of a sizable number of Kellogg's cereal boxes promoting the show.

Complete with magic carpet rides and towering spires, The tales were inspired by the
Adventures of Aladdin and stories brought back to the West since the Crusades.

D'Artagan - clean shaven, (voice by Bruce Watson),
Athos - blonde, (voice by Jonathan Harris),
Aramis - black haired, (voice by Don Messick),
Porthos - brown haired, (voice by Barney Phillips)
Plus Tooly (Teddy Eccles),
Lady Constance and the Queen, (both voiced by Julie Bennett).
The Three Musketeers most famous cry was
"All for one and one for all!"
Danger
Island
Danger Island was the shows main ongoing one live action serial. It was Directed by Hollywood director Richard Donner, It
centered on five people stranded on a remote jungle island: Doctor Hayden and his young daughter Lesley, Link, Morgan and the silent native, Chongo.
Together they faced Deadly Natives, Pirates, Landslides and Earthquakes.
As Bingo says: "Oh oh Danger Island next!"
